Garmin Livescope Plus Ice Fishing System | LVS34-IF + GLS 10 | 200 Ft Live Sonar
SKU:
Description
🐟 Complete LiveScope Plus ice fishing system, LVS34-IF transducer + GLS 10 black box. Add to any compatible Garmin head unit for 200 ft forward-looking live sonar through the ice.
Garmin LiveScope Plus Ice System
This is the LiveScope Plus ice setup without a head unit, for anglers who already own a compatible Garmin ECHOMAP or GPSMAP chartplotter and want to add the current-generation LiveScope Plus ice sonar. Includes the LVS34-IF ice-specific transducer (current generation, sharper detail and longer range than the older LVS32-IF) and the GLS 10 black box that processes the LiveScope data.
At $1,800, this is the cost-efficient way to add LiveScope Plus to an existing Garmin rig. You save the cost of a new head unit, most ice anglers who buy this already own a 73sv, 93sv, or similar open-water unit from prior seasons. The LVS34-IF is the same transducer bundled with Garmin's premium $3,300 LiveScope Plus ice package, so you're getting the current flagship ice live sonar without rebuying a head unit.
This is a LiveScope Plus add-on system, it does NOT include a head unit. You pair the LVS34-IF transducer and GLS 10 black box with a compatible Garmin chartplotter you already own. Most ice anglers adding this system already run a 73sv, 93sv, or GPSMAP from prior open-water seasons.

Who This System Is For
This bundle is best for ice anglers who already own a compatible Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 (7"+) or GPSMAP chartplotter and want to add current-generation LiveScope Plus for ice fishing, typically tournament ice anglers and guides upgrading from an older LVS32-IF system.
Choose This If...
- You already own a compatible Garmin chartplotter, ECHOMAP UHD2 7"/9", Ultra 2, or GPSMAP. If you don't, the 93sv + LiveScope Plus Ice Bundle ($3,300 complete) is the better value.
- You're upgrading from an older LiveScope (LVS32-IF), the LVS34-IF is the direct replacement for sharper detail and longer range. Your existing GLS 10 works.
- You want current-generation LiveScope Plus for ice, not the older LVS32 generation.
- You don't need a new head unit, adding to an existing rig rather than buying complete.
- You do portable / bucket ice fishing setups, this works in both portable and permanent installations, but if you need a permanent ice house install, see the Ice House System ($4,900) instead.

Frequently Asked Questions
What head units are compatible?
The LiveScope Plus Ice System (LVS34-IF + GLS 10) works with most modern Garmin chartplotters: ECHOMAP UHD2 7"/9" units (73sv, 74sv, 75sv, 93sv, 94sv, 95sv), ECHOMAP Ultra 2 all sizes (102sv, 106sv, 122sv, 126sv, 162sv, 166sv), and GPSMAP series. It does NOT work with ECHOMAP UHD2 5" or 6" units (52cv, 53cv, 54cv, 55cv, 63sv, 64sv, 65sv), those don't support LiveScope at any generation.
Will this replace my existing LVS32-IF?
Yes, if you're upgrading from the original LiveScope LVS32-IF, this is the direct replacement. The LVS34-IF delivers sharper target separation, cleaner imaging, and slightly longer practical range. Your GLS 10 black box from the LVS32 system will work with the LVS34-IF, you only need to swap the transducer if you already own the black box. Call us at 252-431-6001 if you're unsure what's in your current setup.
What's the difference between LVS34-IF and LVS34 (non-IF)?
The LVS34-IF is configured specifically for ice fishing, the transducer element is angled and mounted differently to show down the ice hole and forward through the ice. The standard LVS34 is for open-water (trolling motor or pole mount). Physically the transducers are different products, you can't convert one to the other. Most tournament anglers who fish both ice and open water own both transducers and swap between them.
Do I need a head unit?
Yes, this system is the transducer and black box only. You need a compatible Garmin chartplotter: ECHOMAP UHD2 7"/9" (73sv/74sv/75sv/93sv/94sv/95sv), Ultra 2 (all sizes), or GPSMAP. If you don't already own one, consider our 93sv + LiveScope Plus Ice Bundle ($3,300) which includes a head unit and lithium battery.
Do I need a battery?
Yes, 12V DC battery required. Not included. Recommend 7-12Ah sealed lead-acid (AGM) or lithium. Lithium is preferred for cold weather; AGM is cheaper.
Will my existing GLS 10 work with LVS34-IF?
Yes. If you already own a GLS 10 from an LVS32-IF system, you can buy just the LVS34-IF transducer separately (not sold as part of this system, but available as a standalone accessory). Call 252-431-6001 if you need help speccing the upgrade path.
What does 200 ft forward-looking range mean in practice?
You can see fish approaching your hole from up to 200 feet away through the ice. In practice, most ice fishing situations don't need the full 200 feet, 30-80 feet is the range where detail is sharpest and decisions actually get made. The 200 ft upper range matters when you're scouting a large flat or trying to intercept schools.
