Chart Card Compatibility
This unit has a microSD card slot and runs Garmin LakeVü g3 inland lake maps and Navionics+ and Navionics Platinum+ charts. Drop in the card for your region and go.
It comes in 10" and 12", with built-in traditional CHIRP, SideVü, and ClearVü, Garmin LiveScope compatible. Available models: 1022xsv, 1042xsv, 1222xsv, 1242xsv. xsv models offer a no-transducer option or the GT52HW-TM transducer.
Which model do I need?
- The letters are the sonar. cv is ClearVü down imaging only. sv is SideVü side imaging plus ClearVü down imaging. xsv adds built-in 1kW traditional CHIRP with both, no black box needed.
- The maps. The US/Canada version ships with Garmin Navionics+ for the US and Canada; the Worldwide version ships with a worldwide basemap. For this series, 1022 is worldwide, 1042 is US/Canada. Choose US/Canada for fishing in North America.
