Description
🎣 The whole STRIKER Vivid line in one place. Pick your screen size, decide whether you want the transducer in the box, and choose your basemap, and the price sorts itself out.
STRIKER Vivid is Garmin's easy-to-use color fishfinder series, built around vivid scanning sonar color palettes, seven of them, that make fish and structure jump off the screen. Every model runs Garmin CHIRP traditional sonar with built-in GPS and Quickdraw Contours, so you can mark up to 5,000 waypoints and draw your own 1 foot maps as you fish. The 4cv, 5cv, and 7cv add CHIRP ClearVu down imaging on the GT20-TM transducer. The 7sv and 9sv step up to CHIRP ClearVu and SideVu on the GT52HW-TM, so you can scan out to the sides and cover more water.
Screen sizes run 4.3 inch (4cv), 5 inch (5cv), 7 inch (7cv and 7sv), and 9 inch (9sv). The 5cv and up use a crisp 800 x 480 WVGA display, and the bigger screens make split-screen sonar genuinely readable. The 4cv, 5cv, and 7sv are also available without a transducer if you already run a compatible one.

Built for kayak, jon boat, and small-boat anglers who want CHIRP clarity and their own contour maps without stepping up to a full chartplotter.
FAQ
Q: What is the difference between cv and sv?
A: cv models (4cv, 5cv, 7cv) have CHIRP traditional sonar plus ClearVu down imaging, which looks straight down. sv models (7sv, 9sv) add CHIRP SideVu, which scans left and right of the boat. If you need side scanning, choose a 7sv or 9sv.
Q: Which transducer is included?
A: The 4cv, 5cv, and 7cv come with the GT20-TM (CHIRP traditional and ClearVu). The 7sv and 9sv come with the GT52HW-TM (CHIRP traditional, ClearVu, and SideVu). The no-transducer options ship with no transducer.
Q: What is the difference between the U.S. and Worldwide basemap?
A: It sets the built-in base cartography region. U.S. basemap suits anglers fishing U.S. waters; Worldwide suits those outside the U.S. Both build Quickdraw Contours maps the same way. Pick the one for where you fish.
Q: Do STRIKER Vivid units come with lake maps?
A: No preloaded detailed lake maps and no microSD slot. You get the built-in basemap plus Quickdraw Contours, which lets you record your own 1 foot contour maps as you go, and you can download Quickdraw Community maps.
Q: Should I get the 4cv or the 5cv?
A: Same sonar and features. The 5cv has a larger 5 inch, 800 x 480 screen that makes split-screen readable and is easier to see in sunlight. Choose the 4cv for a kayak or tight space, the 5cv if you have deck room and run split-screen.
