Chart Card Compatibility
This unit has a microSD card slot and runs Garmin LakeVü g3 inland lake maps and Navionics+ and Navionics Platinum+ charts. Drop in the card for your region and go.
It comes in 6", 7", and 9", with SideVü side imaging, ClearVü down imaging, and traditional CHIRP. Available models: 62sv, 63sv, 64sv, 72sv, 73sv, 74sv, 92sv, 93sv, 94sv. sv models include the GT54UHD-TM (6"/7") or GT56UHD-TM (9") transducer; no-transducer options are available.
Which model do I need?
- The letters are the sonar. cv is ClearVü down imaging only. sv is SideVü side imaging plus ClearVü down imaging. xsv adds built-in 1kW traditional CHIRP with both, no black box needed.
- The last number is the maps. On ECHOMAP UHD2, 3 = Inland (preloaded Garmin Navionics+ US lakes and rivers) and 4 = Coastal (saltwater and the Great Lakes). So a 73cv is the 7" inland unit and a 74cv is the same 7" set up for the coast. Worldwide basemap versions are also offered. Pick 3 for lakes and rivers, 4 for the coast or Great Lakes.

- Does it come with a transducer? sv models include the GT54UHD-TM (6"/7") or GT56UHD-TM (9") transducer; no-transducer options are available.
- What is the difference between the 3 and 4 models (like 73cv vs 74cv)? The last digit is the maps. 3 is Inland (US lakes and rivers), 4 is Coastal (saltwater and the Great Lakes). The hardware is the same, the preloaded Garmin Navionics+ charts differ.
- What does cv, sv and xsv mean? cv is ClearVü down imaging only. sv is SideVü plus ClearVü, side and down. xsv adds built-in 1kW traditional CHIRP with both and no black box.
