What "no credit needed" means
Built for every credit situation
Good credit, bad credit, limited credit, or no credit history — you don't have to have credit to qualify.
Approval is based mainly on your banking activity, not just your credit score, so more customers get the gear they need.
Before you apply
- A credit check is part of every application. It's a hard inquiry and may affect your score by a few points.
- Approval is based on your banking: a valid checking account at a brick-and-mortar or national bank, steady monthly deposits of at least $1,000, and good standing with no overdraft issues.
- Prepaid card accounts and non-FDIC bank accounts are not accepted.
- Payment history is reported to the credit bureaus — on-time payments can help build or improve your credit over time.
