The STRIKER 4 has no chart card slot and no mapping, so LakeVü, Navionics, LakeMaster and C-MAP cards are not compatible. GPS stores up to 5,000 waypoints. For your own contour maps, step up to the STRIKER Plus 4 with Quickdraw Contours.
The Garmin STRIKER 4 is an easy-to-use 3.5 inch color fishfinder with built-in high-sensitivity GPS. Garmin CHIRP traditional sonar (77/200 kHz) gives you crisp fish arches and solid target separation, and the built-in GPS lets you mark and return to waypoints, boat ramps, and docks. It stores up to 5,000 waypoints, and a built-in flasher makes it a favorite for vertical jigging and ice fishing.

The Standard comes with the CHIRP transducer, tilt/swivel mount, and transom and trolling motor mounts. The Portable Kit swaps the transom and trolling motor mounts for a carrying bag, rechargeable battery and charger, a suction cup mount, a foam float and a kayak in-hull transducer mount, ideal for kayak, canoe and ice.

FAQ
Q: What is the difference between the Standard and the Portable Kit?
A: The Standard comes with the transducer plus transom and trolling motor mounts for a boat. The Portable Kit (010-01550-10) does not include those mounts. It comes with a carrying bag, rechargeable battery and charger, a suction cup mount, a foam float and a kayak in-hull transducer mount, so you can use it in a kayak, canoe or on the ice with no permanent install.
Q: Does the STRIKER 4 have down or side imaging?
A: No. The STRIKER 4 has Garmin CHIRP traditional (2D) sonar only. For ClearVu down imaging step up to a STRIKER Vivid 4cv or 5cv; for SideVu, a Vivid 7sv or 9sv.
Q: Can it use maps or a microSD card?
A: No microSD slot, no preloaded maps and no Quickdraw. It uses GPS waypoints and routes, and you can share them with other STRIKER and ECHOMAP combos. To draw your own lake maps, the STRIKER Plus 4 adds Quickdraw.
