Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 2 Down & Side Imaging Chartplotter
SKU:
Description
🎣 The Garmin ECHOMAP Ultra 2 is the premium end of the ECHOMAP line, a big-screen, keyed-touch chartplotter and fishfinder built for anglers and boaters who want maximum detail, maximum screen real estate, and room to grow. Choose your screen size, your chart set, and your transducer, and you have a flagship helm without stepping all the way up to a GPSMAP.
Every Ultra 2 runs Garmin's full sonar suite: high-wattage traditional CHIRP, Ultra High-Definition ClearVü down imaging, and Ultra High-Definition SideVü side imaging for the clearest, most detailed scanning ECHOMAP offers. The large, bright, sunlight-readable keyed-assist touchscreen gives you space to run split screens of sonar, mapping, and live sonar side by side, a real advantage when you are running multiple sonar views at speed.
Preloaded Garmin Navionics+ cartography (or a Worldwide basemap, depending on your choice) puts detailed charts, depth contours, and structure at your fingertips, and Quickdraw Contours records your own 1-foot maps. Wi-Fi and ActiveCaptain keep charts and software current, and full Garmin Marine Network and NMEA 2000 support let you build out a connected helm with radar, additional displays, and sensors.
And like the ECHOMAP UHD2 SideVü line, every Ultra 2 is compatible with the new Garmin LiveScope 2 with no black box. Add LiveScope 2 (LVS44 or LVS42HD) using the included GMN1 adapter for real-time, live-scanning forward-facing sonar, no GLS10 module required.

FAQ
Q: How is the Ultra 2 different from the ECHOMAP UHD2?
A: The Ultra 2 is the premium line, bigger screens (10, 12, 16 inch), Ultra High-Definition scanning sonar, higher CHIRP power, and full marine networking. The UHD2 is the mainstream line in smaller sizes.
Q: Is the Ultra 2 compatible with the new LiveScope 2?
A: Yes. Every Ultra 2 is LiveScope 2 compatible and connects with no GLS10 black box using the included GMN1 adapter. The LiveScope 2 transducer is sold separately.
Q: Which transducer is included?
A: The high-definition GT56UHD-TM. You can also choose No Transducer.
Q: What is the difference between US Navionics+ and Worldwide?
A: US Navionics+ is detailed preloaded cartography for US inland and coastal water. Worldwide is a basemap for use anywhere, ideal if you fish outside the US or add your own charts.
Q: Can I build a networked system with it?
A: Yes. Ultra 2 supports Garmin Marine Network and NMEA 2000 for radar, additional displays, sensors, and multiple sonar sources.
