The Minn Kota PowerDrive is the entry-level GPS-enabled bow mount in the Minn Kota lineup. PowerDrive ships in two distinct configurations — Corded Foot Pedal or Bluetooth Micro Remote — and they are NOT interchangeable. The foot pedal version has no GPS, no Bluetooth, and no wireless remote option. The micro remote version has GPS, Bluetooth, Spot-Lock, Drift Mode, AutoPilot, and One-Boat Network. No. PowerDrive GPS models do not have a foot pedal port. This is a hardware-level limitation confirmed by Minn Kota — there is no adapter, no workaround. If you need both a foot pedal and a wireless remote on the same motor, you need a Terrova.
Can I add any wireless remote to the foot pedal version?
No. The current PowerDrive foot pedal models have no Bluetooth hardware and no GPS hardware. There is no wireless remote compatible with the current foot pedal configuration. If you want wireless remote control, you need to purchase a Micro Remote (GPS) configuration SKU.
Is there a wireless foot pedal for PowerDrive?

The Advanced GPS Navigation Wireless Remote (SKU 1866655) is sold separately — it is a full-size Bluetooth remote with an LCD screen showing waypoints, routes, battery status, and complete GPS control. Both are Bluetooth. You can pair both on the same motor simultaneously (up to 3 Bluetooth remotes total).
PowerDrive vs. Terrova — what is the real difference?
Terrova has more thrust options (up to 112 lb), tighter mount tolerances, better build quality, and the ability to run a corded foot pedal + wireless remote simultaneously on the same motor. PowerDrive is the entry GPS motor — same core GPS features (Spot-Lock, Drift Mode, OBN) but fewer configurations and no dual-control capability.
What size PowerDrive do I need?
45 lb / 12V handles boats up to roughly 2,500 lb total loaded weight. 55 lb / 12V handles up to roughly 3,000 lb. 70 lb / 24V handles up to roughly 3,500 lb. Always measure total loaded weight (boat + motor + gear + passengers). When in doubt, size up — an underpowered motor burns batteries faster and struggles in wind or current.
