Description

🚤 Electric-steer bow-mount control with i-Pilot GPS at a mid-tier price.

The Minn Kota Powerdrive is the mid-tier freshwater electric-steer bow-mount, stepping up from cable-steer to a lighter foot pedal and full i-Pilot GPS. Some configurations build in Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar and One-Boat Network compatibility, so the motor can feed your electronics and be controlled alongside your other One-Boat Network gear.

It is the right choice for anglers who want GPS features like Spot-Lock and AutoPilot without stepping all the way up to the tournament tier.

  • āœ… Electric-steer bow-mount with full i-Pilot GPS
  • āœ… Spot-Lock and AutoPilot hold a spot or a heading hands-free
  • āœ… Thrust options 12V at 45 or 55 lb, or 24V at 70 lb
  • āœ… Shaft options 48, 54, and 60 inch; optional built-in CHIRP sonar and One-Boat Network

A GPS-equipped bow-mount for freshwater bass and multispecies anglers.

Common Questions

What does Spot-Lock do? Spot-Lock is a GPS anchor. It uses the motor to hold your boat on a precise spot without dropping a physical anchor, so you stay on fish, structure, or a brush pile hands-free.

Should I run 12V, 24V, or 36V? More voltage means more thrust to move a bigger, heavier boat and to hold against wind and current. A rough guide is about 2 pounds of thrust per 100 pounds of fully loaded boat weight. 12V suits small boats, 24V is the mid-range sweet spot, and 36V is for larger or rough-water rigs.

How do I choose the right shaft length? Measure from the mounting surface to the waterline and add enough to keep the motor fully submerged even in chop. Most bass and multispecies boats run 45 to 52 inches; taller-freeboard hulls, center consoles, and rough water need longer. We can help you measure.

Not sure which shaft length, voltage, or configuration fits your boat? Carolina Sportsman Outfitters has been outfitting anglers with Minn Kota trolling motors since 2015, and we can match shaft length, voltage, sonar, and i-Pilot options to your boat and your electronics.
