Humminbird Piranhamax Fish Finder
SKU:
Description
š£ The one you hang on a jon boat, a rental, or your kid's first setup. Simple, cheap, and it finds fish.
PiranhaMAX is Humminbird's entry series, now with a 4.3 inch color display and more pixels than the units it replaced. Dual Beam sonar shows you depth, bottom hardness, and fish, with a wide beam for searching and a narrow beam for detail. There is no GPS, no map card slot, and nothing to set up, which is exactly the point.
- ā 4.3 in color display, easy to read in daylight
- ā Dual Beam sonar with wide and narrow coverage
- ā Fish ID+, depth and water temperature readouts
- ā PiranhaMAX 4 and 4 DI include a tilt and swivel mount; the 4 PT comes in a portable carrying case
- ā DI model adds Down Imaging; PT model is a self-contained portable
Three configurations: PiranhaMAX 4 is the base Dual Beam unit, PiranhaMAX 4 DI adds Down Imaging for a picture-like view of what is under the boat, and PiranhaMAX 4 PT is the portable kit for a rental, a canoe, or the ice.
Built for panfish, catfish, and crappie anglers on small boats, and for anyone who wants a real Humminbird without a real Humminbird budget.

FAQ
Q: What is the difference between the PiranhaMAX 4 and the 4 DI?
A: The base PiranhaMAX 4 runs Dual Beam 2D sonar. The 4 DI adds Down Imaging, which gives a clearer, more photo-like picture of structure directly beneath the boat. Both use the same 4.3 inch display.
Q: What makes the PT model portable?
A: The PiranhaMAX 4 PT is a self-contained portable kit, so you can carry it to a rental boat, a canoe, or an ice hole with no permanent install on any hull.
Q: Does the PiranhaMAX have GPS or mapping?
A: No. There is no GPS, no chartplotting, and no memory card slot in this series. It is a depth and fish finder. For GPS and mapping, step up to a Humminbird HELIX or XPLORE.
