Common Questions
What does Control Head Only (CHO) mean? CHO means no transducer is included. It is for anglers upgrading from a previous HELIX with a compatible transducer, or building a networked multi-unit setup. You will need to supply or reuse a compatible Humminbird transducer.
What does the G4N One-Boat Network version add? G4N adds One-Boat Network. It integrates with a Minn Kota i-Pilot Link trolling motor so you can share Spot-Lock waypoints and control functions, supports MEGA Live 2 forward-scan live sonar, and lets you network multiple Humminbird units. The G4 is a standalone unit without networking.
What is MEGA Imaging? MEGA Down and Side Imaging use higher frequencies than standard imaging for a much sharper picture. You can pick out individual branches in submerged timber, single rocks in riprap, and fish tucked into cover.
