The Humminbird HELIX 7 CHIRP MDI GPS G4N is the network-capable version of the MEGA Down Imaging HELIX 7. It keeps the same CHIRP sonar, MEGA Down Imaging, and GPS, then adds One-Boat Network for deep integration with the rest of your rig.
If you run a Minn Kota trolling motor with i-Pilot Link, the network lets you share Spot-Lock waypoints and control functions between the motor and the unit. It also supports MEGA Live 2 forward-scan sonar and networking additional Humminbird units, so it is the right choice if you plan to build out a connected boat. A transducer is included.

What does the G4N One-Boat Network version add? G4N adds One-Boat Network. It integrates with a Minn Kota i-Pilot Link trolling motor so you can share Spot-Lock waypoints and control functions, supports MEGA Live 2 forward-scan live sonar, and lets you network multiple Humminbird units. The G4 is a standalone unit without networking.
What is MEGA Imaging? MEGA Down and Side Imaging use higher frequencies than standard imaging for a much sharper picture. You can pick out individual branches in submerged timber, single rocks in riprap, and fish tucked into cover.
What is CHIRP sonar? CHIRP sweeps a range of frequencies instead of firing one, which sharpens target separation and gives you cleaner fish arches and better detail than traditional single-frequency sonar.
