SKU:
Description
đ STRIKER Plus 4 Ice Fishing Bundle, complete portable ice kit. Plus 4 head unit with Quickdraw Contours, ice transducer, and everything needed for hard water in one carrying case.
Garmin STRIKER Plus 4 Ice Fishing Bundle
The Garmin STRIKER Plus 4 Ice Fishing Bundle is the purpose-built ice version of the STRIKER Plus 4. Priced at $379. It pairs the STRIKER Plus 4 head unit (4.3" screen, CHIRP sonar, GPS, and Quickdraw Contours mapping) with an ice-specific dual-beam transducer, a portable carry case, and a battery, a complete grab-and-go ice fishing rig.
The Plus 4 head unit has Quickdraw Contours, which for ice anglers means you can map lakes by drilling holes in a grid pattern and letting the unit record depth at each hole. Over a season, you build a detailed bathymetric map of productive ice fishing waters. At $380, it is meaningfully cheaper than the ECHOMAP UHD2 53cv Ice Bundle ($600), and you get Quickdraw mapping as the main trade-off (no SideVĂź, no LiveScope path).

Who This Is For
This unit is best for budget ice fishermen, panfish ice anglers, walleye ice anglers fishing smaller lakes, and anglers who want a reliable Garmin ice setup without stepping up to ECHOMAP ice bundles. Step up: the ECHOMAP UHD2 53cv Ice Bundle ($600) adds a 5" color display, dual microSD for LakeMaster VX chips, ActiveCaptain app support, and NMEA 2000 networking. Step down: the STRIKER 4 with an ice transducer accessory saves money but loses Quickdraw Contours entirely.
Choose This If...
- You ice fish on smaller lakes without commercial chart coverage, Quickdraw Contours builds your own maps.
- You want a complete turnkey ice fishing setup, head unit, ice transducer, battery, case, charger all in one box.
- Your budget is around $380, the cheapest Garmin ice bundle with mapping capability.
- You ice fish recreationally, not competitively, tournament ice anglers typically run ECHOMAP ice bundles with LiveScope or Panoptix.
- You value portability over premium features, the 4.3" display is small but fits any ice fishing setup from bucket to full shelter.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does "Vivid" mean?
"Vivid" refers to Garmin's color palette, sharper, brighter, higher-contrast colors than the original STRIKER line. Makes fish arcs, bottom composition, and ClearVĂź structure detail easier to see at a glance.
Does this support LiveScope or Panoptix?
No. The STRIKER tier does not support LiveScope Plus, LiveScope XR, LiveScope Original, or any Panoptix live sonar product. If live forward-looking sonar is on your wish list, step up to ECHOMAP UHD2 7"+ tier.
What's the difference between cv and sv?
"cv" means CHIRP + ClearVĂź (down imaging only). "sv" adds SideVĂź side imaging. The STRIKER Plus 4 is CHIRP only, no ClearVĂź or SideVĂź.
Can I add a cartography chip (LakeMaster VX, Navionics+)?
No. STRIKER Vivid units use Quickdraw Contours for mapping, you record your own lake contours as you fish. They do NOT support LakeMaster VX, CoastMaster Premium, Navionics+, or any other cartography chip. If you want pre-loaded maps, step up to ECHOMAP UHD2.
Does it support NMEA 2000 networking?
No. STRIKER Vivid is a standalone unit, does not network with other Garmin electronics. If you need networked radar, cameras, or multi-display setups, step up to ECHOMAP UHD2 or Ultra 2.
Is this used in tournaments?
Rarely at competitive levels. STRIKER Vivid is recreational/mid-entry tier. Tournament anglers typically run ECHOMAP UHD2, Ultra 2, or GPSMAP units with LiveScope or Panoptix live sonar.
How is this different from ECHOMAP UHD2?
Three main differences: (1) ECHOMAP UHD2 has touchscreen; STRIKER Vivid has buttons. (2) ECHOMAP UHD2 supports LakeMaster/CoastMaster/Navionics cartography chips; STRIKER Vivid is Quickdraw-only. (3) ECHOMAP UHD2 7"+ supports LiveScope via GLS 10; STRIKER Vivid does not at any size. Pricing reflects these differences, ECHOMAP UHD2 is typically $200-$300 more at comparable screen sizes.
Can I use this for ice fishing?
Yes, this IS the ice bundle. Comes with ice-specific transducer and portable case.
