Q: HDS PRO vs Elite FS, what's the real difference?
HDS PRO has a more powerful processor (faster image refresh on Active Imaging HD), large programmable keys (10/12/16 inch models), full network expansion (radar, autopilot, multiple ActiveTarget displays), and is generally considered the tournament/professional tier. Elite FS is the mid-premium touchscreen tier with most of the same features at a lower price point but slower processing and reduced network expansion.

Q: Active Imaging HD vs Active Imaging 3-in-1 Gen 1?
Active Imaging HD operates at up to 1.2MHz (vs 800kHz on Gen 1) for higher-resolution SideScan and DownScan. Gen 1 is still excellent and was the industry standard for years. HD is worth the upgrade for shallow-water bass anglers who want maximum target separation in 0-30 ft water.

Q: Do I need a separate transducer?
If the title says "No Transducer", yes, you need to add a compatible transducer separately (Active Imaging HD 3-in-1 recommended). If the title includes "with Active Imaging HD" or "with Splitshot/Tripleshot", the transducer is included.

Q: Will this work with my Ghost trolling motor?
