RIX STORM S6R V2 640×512 Thermal Riflescope with Laser Rangefinder
SKU:
Description
🔥 The RIX STORM S6R V2 steps up from the S3R V2 with a 640×512 thermal sensor and a wider field of view, more detail and more terrain in view, in the same compact STORM body with a built-in laser rangefinder. For hunters who want the higher-resolution sensor without giving up the sub-1-pound STORM platform.
More Sensor, Wider View, Same STORM
The STORM S6R V2 runs a next-generation 640×512 sensor with a 12µm pixel pitch and NETD under 20 mK, behind the same 35mm F/1.0 lens and 1024×768 OLED display as the S3R V2. Base magnification is 2× with up to 4× digital zoom. The lower base magnification opens a noticeably wider field of view for glassing open pasture, and because the digital zoom pulls from a 640-pixel base, the image holds detail further into the zoom range. Built-in LRF ranges to 1,312 yards at ±1 meter with a free ballistic calculator. 1000G recoil rated, IP67 waterproof.

Frequently Asked Questions
S6R V2 vs S3R V2?
The S6R V2 has a 640×512 sensor with a wider field of view and better detail when you push digital zoom. The S3R V2 has a 384×288 sensor at 3.5× base magnification. Both include the built-in LRF. The S6R V2 is the pick when image detail matters most.
Why is the base magnification only 2×?
The larger 640×512 sensor trades a little base magnification for a much wider field of view. At 3× digital it still resolves more detail than the S3R at similar zoom, thanks to the bigger sensor.
What is the STORM S6R V2?
The latest version of RIX's 640-class rangefinding thermal riflescope, with the redesigned compact built-in LRF, RET AI image enhancement, and RIX's current STORM firmware, in a sub-1-pound body with a free QD mount.
How far will it detect and range?
Detection runs up to 1,969 yards. The built-in laser rangefinder reads distance to 1,312 yards at ±1 meter.
