The Minn Kota Ultrex is the one cable-steer trolling motor that also gives you Spot-Lock GPS anchoring. Where other Spot-Lock motors use electric steering, the Ultrex keeps the direct mechanical foot pedal that anglers love for precise control, then adds i-Pilot Spot-Lock and CoPilot through the remote. You get the responsiveness of cable-steer and the hands-free power of GPS in one motor.
It is a tournament-bass standard for anglers who refuse to give up foot-pedal feel but still want to lock onto a spot at the push of a button.

What does Spot-Lock do? Spot-Lock is a GPS anchor. It uses the motor to hold your boat on a precise spot without dropping a physical anchor, so you stay on fish, structure, or a brush pile hands-free.
What is the difference between cable-steer and electric-steer? Cable-steer gives direct, mechanical foot-pedal response that many anglers prefer for precise control. Electric-steer trades that direct feel for a lighter pedal and GPS features like Spot-Lock and AutoPilot.
What is built-in MEGA Imaging? Some configurations build a MEGA Down or Side Imaging transducer right into the motor, feeding your compatible fish finder high-resolution sonar straight off the trolling motor, with no separate transducer to mount.
