Do I need to buy a summer sonar transducer separately?

Yes. The LVS34 transducer included with this bundle is a LiveScope Plus transducer, it provides forward-looking live sonar only. For CHIRP traditional sonar, ClearVü down imaging, and SideVü side imaging, you need a separate summer transducer like the GT56UHD-TM (approximately $500). Most buyers add the GT56UHD-TM for general fishing and use the LVS34 for LiveScope-specific applications.

Can I use the LVS34 on ice?

How is LVS34 different from the older LVS32?

The LVS34 is the current-generation LiveScope Plus transducer, sharper target separation, cleaner imaging, and slightly longer practical range than the older LVS32. If you already own an LVS32-based rig, upgrading to LVS34 is worth it if you fish competitively or you're consistently working the edge of LVS32's range.

Does this work with my trolling motor?

Yes. The LVS34 can be mounted to a Garmin Force, Force Pro, or Force Kraken trolling motor shaft (Garmin-specific mount required) or to a dedicated LiveScope pole. Most tournament anglers use the trolling motor mount for hands-free steering of the LiveScope beam. For non-Garmin trolling motors, use a dedicated LiveScope pole.

Can I upgrade to LiveScope XR later?

Yes. The GLS 10 black box included with this bundle works with LiveScope Plus (LVS34), LiveScope XR (LVS36, sold separately for approximately $1,500), and LiveScope Original (LVS32). Future-proof in that sense.
