Warranty & Service Exchange Policy
All manufacturers provide their own warranty coverage for the products they sell. We recommend reviewing the manufacturer’s website or the product owner’s manual for complete warranty details and instructions.
If you experience an issue with a product, we will follow the manufacturer’s warranty process to help facilitate a replacement, repair, or exchange in accordance with their guidelines. Please note that in many cases, the manufacturer may require the product to be shipped directly to their warehouse rather than returned to our store.
Some manufacturers do offer warranty programs that allow us to handle certain warranty services in-store; however, this varies by brand and product. Please refer to our warranty section to determine if in-store service is available for your item.
We are a retailer and not the manufacturer, and all warranty decisions are ultimately made by the manufacturer. As such, we are not responsible for warranty approvals, denials, or processing outcomes.
Customers are responsible for any shipping costs associated with warranty claims unless otherwise stated by the manufacturer.
If your product is being evaluated or repaired under warranty and you require a replacement during that time, you may choose to purchase another unit at your discretion. Some manufacturers may offer loaner programs, but these are handled solely at their discretion and are not guaranteed.
We value customer feedback and encourage you to reach out if you experience any issues with your purchase so we can assist you in navigating the warranty process.
*Important update*
Garmin no longer makes the TT15 and T5x models - we apologize in advance but we can not take warranty and service exchanges on these models due to the discontinuation!
IMPORTANT: Do Not Send Items Without Approval
Please do not send any items in for service or return without receiving an approved email with official instructions.
Step 1:
You will first receive an email confirming your submitted form along with a reference number. This email is only confirmation that your request has been received — it is not approval to send your item in.
Step 2:
A second email will be sent by a representative indicating whether your request has been approved or denied. This email will also include detailed instructions on how to proceed.
Unapproved Shipments Fee:
Any items sent in without prior approval will be subject to a $25 processing fee plus return shipping costs. This fee is non-refundable and will not be waived under any circumstances.
Warranty & Service Exchange Policy
No warranty or service exchange products will be accepted without an approved form.
All customers must complete the warranty/service request form to receive pre-approval and further instructions before sending any items in.
Non-Warranty Service Exchange (Discounted Replacement After Warranty)
Items eligible for a non-warranty service exchange (discounted replacement after warranty coverage) include free return shipping on exchanged or replacement items.
No receipt or proof of purchase is required. It does not matter where the product was originally purchased. Simply complete the required form to receive pre-approval and instructions.
Warranty (Free Replacement Within Warranty – Purchased From Carolina Sportsman Outfitters)
Items covered under manufacturer warranty and originally purchased from Carolina Sportsman Outfitters qualify for a free replacement within the warranty period. Return shipping is covered.

Warranty (Free Replacement Within Warranty – Not Purchased From Carolina Sportsman Outfitters)
Items still within manufacturer warranty but not purchased from Carolina Sportsman Outfitters are still eligible for warranty service.
