Day or night. Thermal reads heat, not light. By day the S3R finds game bedded in brush and shade that beat a day scope; after dark it runs the field. The built-in laser rangefinder reads to 1,312 yards in the display.

Which Storm? The S3R is the 384 with a rangefinder. Drop the LRF with the S3 to save, or step to the S6R (640) for more detail at range, or the S3R V2 for the newer sharper sensor.
