Description
The Ionic 24V 50Ah is a single-battery solution for 24V trolling motor systems. Instead of wiring two 12V batteries in series, you get one compact 24V battery with fewer cables, fewer connection points, and a cleaner installation. At 32 lbs and 1,280Wh, it delivers the same energy as two quality 12V batteries in a single package.
Built-in Bluetooth, advanced BMS, cold weather protection, and 11-year warranty — all the same features as the rest of the Ionic lineup. Note: this battery cannot be wired in series (no series stacking), but can be wired in parallel with additional 24V 50Ah batteries for more capacity. Specifications: 24V / 50Ah / 1,280Wh | LiFePO4 | 32.0 lbs | 12.5 x 6.5 x 8.5 in | Max charge: 25A @ 29.2V | Max discharge: 50A continuous / 150A peak (3s) | Operating temp: -4°F to 140°F | 3/8 UNC terminal | Water resistant
Recommended Charger: Ionic 24V 10A Charger (single battery), or Ionic 24V Multi Voltage Charger (charges 24V trolling battery + 12V starter from one unit).

Neither is objectively better. The single 24V means fewer cables and connections. Two 12V batteries give you more flexibility — you can replace one at a time and use them individually if needed. It comes down to your boat layout and preference.
Can I wire this in series to make 48V?
No. The 24V 50Ah cannot be wired in series. It can be wired in parallel with other 24V 50Ah batteries for more amp hours.
What charger do I need?
The Ionic 24V 10A Charger for this battery alone. If you also have a 12V starter battery, the Ionic 24V Multi Voltage Charger charges both (24V + 12V) from one unit.
How long will it run my trolling motor?
Depends on thrust and conditions. A 24V, 70-80 lb thrust motor on moderate speed typically runs 6-10+ hours on 50Ah. The Bluetooth app shows real-time remaining capacity.
What is the warranty?
11-year limited warranty with 100% US-based customer support.
