Description
The Ionic 12V 150Ah Dual Purpose is a do-it-all marine battery, it cranks your outboard motor (1,600 cranking amps for engines up to 250hp) and powers your fish finders, GPS, live wells, and other onboard electronics as a deep cycle battery. At 33.1 lbs and 1,920Wh of capacity, it replaces heavy lead-acid cranking batteries while delivering more usable power and lasting years longer.
Built-in Bluetooth monitoring via the Ionic app shows real-time charge level, voltage, and temperature. The BMS provides cell balancing, cold weather protection (will not charge below -4°F), short-circuit protection, and automatic voltage cutoffs. BCI Group 31 case with dual 3/8-16 UNC terminals. Specifications: 12V / 150Ah / 1,920Wh | LiFePO4 | 33.1 lbs | 13.3 x 7.3 x 8.5 in | Group 31 | 1,600 Cranking Amps | Max charge: 100A @ 14.2-14.6V | Max discharge: 100A continuous / 360A peak (5s) | Operating temp: -4°F to 140°F | Dual 3/8-16 UNC terminals | Water resistant
Recommended Charger: Ionic 12V 10A Charger for standalone use, or any Ionic multi-bank charger with at least one 12V bank available.

Yes. The 1,600 cranking amps will start most outboard motors up to 250hp, including popular 4-stroke engines from Yamaha, Mercury, and Suzuki.
Do I need a separate battery for electronics?
No. That's the advantage of dual purpose, it cranks your engine and powers electronics like fish finders, GPS, live wells, lights, and audio all from one battery.
What's the difference between this and the Heater version?
The Heater version (IC-12V150-EPH) adds a built-in heating element that warms the battery cells for reliable charging in freezing temperatures. If you fish in cold climates or store your boat where temps drop below freezing, the Heater version is recommended.
What charger do I need?
The Ionic 12V 10A Charger works for this battery alone. If you're also charging trolling motor batteries, the Ionic 3-Bank, 4-Bank, or Multi Voltage Charger handles everything at once.
What is the warranty?
11-year limited warranty with 100% US-based customer support.
