Description
The Ionic 12V 100Ah is the workhorse of the Ionic marine battery lineup. At 24 lbs and BCI Group 31 size, it delivers 1,280Wh of usable energy, enough to run a trolling motor all day in most conditions. This is the go-to battery for bass boat anglers running 24V (2 in series) or 36V (3 in series) trolling motor setups.
Built-in Bluetooth monitoring via the free Ionic app gives you real-time charge status, voltage, temperature, and cycle history. The advanced BMS handles cell balancing, cold weather protection, short-circuit protection, and automatic voltage cutoffs. 99% depth of discharge means you use virtually all the stored energy before recharging. Specifications: 12V / 100Ah / 1,280Wh | LiFePO4 | 24.0 lbs | 13.0 x 6.75 x 9.0 in | Group 31 | Max charge: 50A @ 14.2-14.6V | Max discharge: 50A continuous / 350A peak (3s) | Operating temp: -4°F to 140°F | 3/8-16 UNC terminal | Water resistant
Recommended Charger: Ionic 3-Bank Charger (24V setup with 3 batteries) or Ionic 4-Bank Charger (36V setup with 4 batteries including starter).
Financing available, no credit needed. Call 252-431-6001 for details. Approval within 24-48 business hours.
Three 12V 100Ah batteries wired in series. This gives you 36V with 100Ah capacity, enough for a full day of tournament fishing in most conditions.
How many for a 24V trolling motor?
Two 12V 100Ah batteries wired in series. This is one of the most popular setups for bass boats with 24V, 70-80 lb thrust trolling motors.
12V 100Ah vs 12V 60Ah, which should I choose?
The 100Ah gives you roughly 67% more capacity and run time. Choose the 100Ah for bass boats and full-day fishing. The 60Ah is better for kayaks and lighter-duty applications where weight savings matter more.
Can I use this as a cranking battery?
This is a deep cycle battery, not a cranking/starter battery. For engine starting, use the Ionic 12V 150Ah Dual Purpose which delivers 1,600 cranking amps.
What charger do I need?
For multiple 12V batteries in series, use an Ionic 3-Bank Charger (for 3 batteries) or 4-Bank Charger (for 4 batteries). Each bank charges at 10A. For a single battery, the Ionic 12V 10A Charger works great.
What is the warranty?
11-year limited warranty with 100% US-based customer support.
