š£ Gator Grip Black Fish Weigh Bag is built for fish care first. The black polyethylene blocks light, which calms fish during transport to the scales and reduces stress that can hurt catch-and-release survival. Combined with the 16mm two-layer construction and polyester reinforced mesh, you get the same tear and puncture resistance as the clear version, with better fish welfare.
Gator Grip introduced this design on the Bassmaster Elite and Open Series in 2006, and it's been the standard tournament bag ever since. The polyethylene material has been used in tournament fish bags since the late 1980s, the original Bag-Em bag standard.

The black version is preferred for hot summer tournaments and long runs to weigh-in where keeping fish alive matters most. Pair with the Gator Grip mesh insert (sold separately) to lift fish out at weigh-in faster and with less handling.
