⌚ The Garmin quatix 8 is Garmin's marine smartwatch for anglers and boaters. It talks to your Garmin boat over Bluetooth: stream depth, RPM and wind to your wrist, control a compatible autopilot, mark waypoints and use voice control on compatible Garmin chartplotters, and run a Garmin Force trolling motor from your wrist.
Off the water it is a full premium smartwatch with a bright 1.4 inch AMOLED screen, sapphire lens, titanium bezel, multi-band GPS, preloaded topo maps, speaker and mic, Garmin Pay, music, an LED flashlight with a red safety light, and a 40 m dive rating.

Runs dogs? This watch has Garmin's DogTrack feature. Pair it with a Garmin Alpha 300, 300i, 200 series, Alpha 10, Pro 550 Plus or Astro handheld and your dogs' distance, direction and status (running, on point, treed) show right on your wrist, with alerts, so the handheld can stay in your vest. The watch reads the handheld, not the collar, and works within about 15 feet of it.

Quatix 8 vs fenix 8, what is the difference?
The quatix adds marine features: boat data streaming, autopilot and chartplotter control, Force trolling motor remote, Fusion-Link, anchor alarm, tides and sailing tools.
Does it come with marine charts?
No. It supports Garmin BlueChart g3 charts, which are sold separately. Topo maps for land are preloaded.
Does it plug into NMEA 2000?
No. It connects to compatible Garmin chartplotters and the GHC 50 autopilot over Bluetooth.
Quatix 8 or quatix 8 Pro?
The Pro adds inReach satellite and LTE for texts, calls, LiveTrack and SOS (plan required), 47mm only.
