🌡️ The DNT HYDRA HS650 is the big-lens 640 of the HYDRA line, a 3-in-1 thermal that works as a rifle scope, a clip-on ahead of your day scope, or a handheld scanner, with the most reach in the family and no rangefinder to keep the price down.
It pairs a 640x512 thermal core at 12µm with a 50mm lens and 2.5x base, the longest reach in the line for picking game out at distance. If you want ranging built in, step to the HS650R.
Day or night. Thermal reads heat, not light, so the HS650 works in daylight too, finding hogs bedded in thick cover and shade a day scope can't see into, then everything warm after dark.

Which HYDRA? The HS650 is the long-reach 640 without a rangefinder. Want ranging built in, the HS650R. Want a shorter 35mm 640, the HS635. Drop to 384 or 256 for lighter-budget builds.

Does it work in daylight? Yes, thermal reads heat not light, and it finds bedded game in cover by day. Will the clip-on change my zero? Mounted ahead of your day scope it's designed to keep your existing zero. Can I use it handheld? Yes, off the rail it works as a thermal monocular to scan. Does it range? No built-in rangefinder on the HS650, step to the HS650R for that.
