It runs a 384x288 thermal core at 12µm with a 35mm lens and 3x base, the balance of detection and value most hog and predator hunters actually need. The built-in laser rangefinder reads distance to 1,300 yards with a ballistic calculator.
Day or night. Thermal reads heat, not light, so the HS335R works in daylight too, finding hogs bedded in cover and shade a day scope misses, then everything warm after dark.
