Description
ā” Cotton Cordell Gay Blade, the blade bait that catches everything.
The Cotton Cordell Gay Blade is a lipless metal blade bait that has been absolutely slaying bass, stripers, walleye, and panfish for over 50 years. The vibrating blade action triggers reaction strikes on a steady retrieve OR on a vertical jigging cadence. Deadly in cold water when fish are sluggish and a vibration bait is the only thing that gets bit. Available in 1.5" and 2" sizes across 4 colors.
š£ Why anglers love it:
ā
Sizes: 1.5" and 2", 4 color patterns
ā
Lipless metal blade bait design
ā
Intense vibration on steady retrieve OR vertical jig
ā
Perfect for cold-water fishing when fish are lethargic
ā
Proven on bass, striper, walleye, white bass, and panfish
ā
Classic Cotton Cordell design, still one of the best ice/cold-water baits
Perfect for: bass, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, striped bass, walleye, white bass, panfish.
ā” Pro tip: Smaller 1.5" size is killer for white bass running jigs and cold-water crappie. 2" is the bass/walleye producer for deep-water jigging and steady-retrieve presentations.
When nothing else works in cold water, the Gay Blade usually does.
