Bates EDC 100 Low-Profile Baitcast Reel

Description
⚡ Grab it and go. The Bates EDC (Every Day Carry) 100 is the baitcaster you reach for without thinking twice, built tough, priced right at $199.99, and ready to fish every single day.
The EDC is Bates' first die-cast aluminum reel, so it is light at 6.2 oz but strong enough to take daily abuse. What sets it apart is the D.A.B. system, a Digitally Assisted Brake that reads spool speed thousands of times per second and adjusts an electromagnetic brake in real time, harder at high speed to kill backlash, lighter at low speed for distance. It is completely self-powered, no batteries and no charging. With 15 lb of drag and a 100mm handle with oversized knobs, it casts as far and as controlled as reels costing much more.
- ✅ Self-powered D.A.B. electronic braking that fights backlash automatically, no batteries
- ✅ Die-cast aluminum frame and aluminum spool, light and rugged at 6.2 oz
- ✅ 15 lb max drag for confident hooksets
- ✅ 100mm aluminum crank with oversized knobs for control
- ✅ Offered in 6.3:1, 7.1:1, or 8.1:1, right or left-hand retrieve
Dialed for bass anglers who want one reel that does a little of everything, jigs, spinnerbaits, and chatterbaits.
