The Star Hunting Lights Hellcat is a coon hunting cap light built around Star's brightest LED. One switch runs a tight spot for finding eyeshine, a walk light for getting through the woods and a red light for the approach. The head mounts on the front of your cap and the battery rides on the back, so there is no cord running down to your belt to hang up in the vines.
How the 9-position switch works
- 5: high spot
- 4: low spot
- 3, 2, 1: high, medium and low walk light
- Center: off
- Other side 1, 2, 3: red accessory light, low, medium and high
Built for shining trees
The Hellcat carries four accessory modules under the main beam: two walk modules and two red modules. Walk in on the walk light, ease up to the tree on red, then hit the high spot to find eyes. The switch clicks into each position, so you can run it by feel with gloves on.

- Bump Cap: hard shell that takes the hits from limbs and briars.
- Soft Cap with Liner: cloth cap with a plastic liner that holds the light steady.
