This 3/4-inch BioThane Beta leash is short-handled (SH), with a brass bolt snap on one end and a short handle loop on the other. It is 100% waterproof and odor-proof, so it stays light in wet grass and never holds that check-cord smell.

What is this used for?

What does SH mean?
Short handle. There is a brass snap on one end and a short handle loop on the other, so the end is easy to grab.
Is 24 feet too long for daily walks?
For around-the-block walks, a 5 or 6-foot leash is better. The 24-foot is for training, recall, and giving your dog more room safely.
Why BioThane over a cotton or nylon long line?
It will not absorb water, tangle, hold burrs, or develop that long-line smell. Rinse it and it is ready to go.
