About Tram Antennas
Tram is a long-running antenna manufacturer based in Tennessee, founded 1953. Famous for HAM radio, CB, and specialty long-range antennas. In recent years, their LRA (Long Range Antenna) series has become THE standard upgrade for serious dog tracking system users, extending Garmin Astro/Alpha and Dogtra Pathfinder handheld range from ~3 miles to 9-12+ miles. Tram also makes the marine VHF antennas that boat owners and marine professionals trust for reliable communication.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why a right-angle adapter?
Standard antenna connections route the cable straight out from the antenna base. A 90-degree adapter routes the cable sideways, much cleaner installation in tight dashes, vehicle headliners, or boat consoles. Also reduces stress on the connection point if the cable tends to pull or hang.
