The Lowrance 000-14070-001 is the HOOK² 4x Adaptor for 7-Pin Transducers, a Y-cable specifically for connecting standard Lowrance 7-pin blue transducers to the HOOK² 4x and HOOK² 4x GPS displays. The HOOK² 4x uses a smaller, unique connector profile (not the standard 7-pin blue socket on larger Lowrance units), so a dedicated adapter is required to use any 7-pin transducer with it.

No, bundled HOOK² 4x units include the correct cable for the included transducer. You only need this Y-cable adapter when adding a different 7-pin transducer to your existing HOOK² 4x.

Q: Will it work on HOOK² 5, 7, 9, or 12?
No, only on HOOK² 4x and 4x GPS. The larger HOOK² units use the standard 7-pin blue socket directly and don't need this adapter.

It keeps freezing up thought it was my graphs but swapped to different graphs n still freezing up
